The striker enjoyed a fantastic month for the Light blues, scoring five goals including two in the victory over Glasgow City as well as providing three assists for her teammates as the Gers won their three SWPL outings and also booked their place in the Sky Sports Cup semi-finals.
The 27-year-old picks up the award for the first time after making the move to Glasgow in the summer and shared her delight at being recognised for her performances.
She said: “It is a nice personal achievement, but I think the month that we had as a team was really good. Nice to get a personal achievement but as I say a good month as a team.
“Of course it is always nice to get on the scoresheet and help the team the way that I can. I think that is what I came here to do. I am happy that I have been able to contribute quite a lot so far.”
The 27-year-old has highlighted her double that downed Glasgow City as the standout moment of the month as she paid tribute to her teammates for her prolific form in front of goal.
She continued: “I think we had a really good training week that week and we had a game plan. We kind of just put that into place and obviously I am happy again to get on the scoresheet but I was just really pleased with that.
“I think that is just credit to my teammates. As I have said in interviews before they just kind of put it on a plate for me and I knock it in. It is just credit to them giving me the opportunities to score and I always know that we are going to make chances to score in games, whether it is me, Kirsty or anyone to be honest. I am just really happy with the amount of chances that we actually create.”
The forward has spoken of her strike partnership with Kirsty Howat with the pair picking up the last three awards between them, as the Gers now prepare to return to league action against Motherwell this weekend.
She added: “Honestly it is a dream. I think I was saying to Rachel the other day, it is just a look and we know what each other is going to do.
“I have never been on the same page so well as another striker. It is really nice that we get to assist each other quite a bit as well. We are just happy to score as many goals as we can.
“It will be a tough game. We played them [Motherwell] before and we conceded a goal so hopefully we get to keep a clean sheet this time, so really looking forward to that one.
“It is good to have everyone back and missing a week last week I think it is good to get some more game time.
“I think it is very important. We try to keep it the same at home so nothing is going to change whether it is home or away we go with the same attitude.”
