The left-back felt it was a 'tough battle' against the experienced League One side but the young Gers rose to the challenge to set-up a tie with Cove Rangers in the next round.
Speaking to RangersTV he said: "First of all it was great to get through and to get a win, it is what we came here to do. I thought in the first 10 minutes we didn't start the best, we came here with a game plan to stamp our authority straight away and we didn't do that but once we did we got two great goals.
"It was gutting to concede a second goal right before half-time because we felt we had momentum so the team talk at half time was just to be calm on the ball and the chances will come.”
It was a squad effort from the Gers this evening, but Fraser paid special mention to Juan Alegria who netted all three goals and Cole McKinnon who put in a strong performance as he slotted in at centre-back.
He continued: "Juan Alegria was excellent tonight, it is hard for him coming in and I feel he is starting to show now what he is about.
"Cole McKinnon too came in at centre-back, I think he has played there once or twice in his whole career so to come in and put in a performance like that was fantastic.
"I thought as a group we did well, it was a tough battle, we didn't get it away at times but we dug it out and we found a way to win."
