A goal inside the opening 10 minutes from Jenny Danielsson set the tone for the dominant display, with a second from Danielsson and goals from Rachel McLauchlan, Kayla McCoy and Jodi McLeary securing another three points in the Scottish Women’s Premier League.
Speaking to RangersTV at full-time, Kerr said: “I think our main focus was to start the game really well, we have struggled in the last few games in the first 15 minutes.l We came out in the first-half and we really performed, we put on a good performance and we got some people minutes.
“I think we are going to come up against lots of teams that are going to sit in against us and it is about us being patient and trying to break them down. Sometimes we have been a little bit frantic to begin with but we really showed our composure the first 15 minutes and really grew into the game.
Kerr feels it is important Rangers can continue that momentum throughout the game and was pleased with the squad’s attitude to give their all for the full 90 minutes.
She continued: “Going into the second-half the message is just to keep doing the things we are doing, try and switch the ball a lot more. Obviously we can bring in fresh legs, give people minutes and let people rest so it is good that we got the goals in the first half.
“We come out in the second half wanting to play how we played in the first and it just shows the attitude of all the players that in the last 10 minutes we are still giving 100 per cent. We are still going forward and getting balls in the box and that is what it is all about at our team and it is good that we can see that.”
