SCOTT WRIGHT has reflected on Rangers’ first league win of the campaign after beating Livingston at Ibrox this afternoon.
The Light Blues’ attacker spoke exclusively to RangersTV after today’s victory and first goal at Ibrox in front of the fans.
He said: “It was a fantastic feeling for me since I have come in this pre-season. I’m delighted to put one in and get the three points and a clean sheet and set the marker for this season.
“You could really feel it [fans inside Ibrox] the energy that they gave off during the game, they are really able to push us on and it’s fantastic for us.”
Wright highlighted the work he has completed over pre-season training ahead of the league beginning.
He added: “More goals and assists is something that I’ve wanted to add to my game this season.
“JD [Jermain Defoe] is making that transition into a coach this season but naturally helped me with that last season and there are so many boys within the team that can help me improve that side of my game also.
“It’s just the sake of believing in the game plan that we’ve got and when the opportunity comes up that we take it, and we did that today.”
