Sima: Loving Life At Rangers With Clement

ABDALLAH SIMA says he’s loving life at Rangers under boss Philippe Clement as Rangers enjoyed another momentous evening in the Europa League with victory over Sparta Prague at Ibrox.

The Senegalese forward was this week named Scottish Premiership Player of the Month for October as he continues to grow from strength to strength since arriving from Brighton on loan.

Speaking to RangersTV after the triumph, the 22-year-old reflected on a special start to life in Glasgow: “It’s a different style of football under the new manager.

“I think some of the players are feeling really happy with him, and I am.

“We are playing more forward and as a striker it is really important to play it forward, that is a good style of football.

“I really like it here, but it was hard for me in the beginning.

“But with hard work and by staying humble I knew I would get better and better.

“With the help of my team-mates and the staff here, I am so happy to be named Player of the Month for October.”

Rangers were quick out of the traps against the Czech side as goals from Danilo and Todd Cantwell sent Clement’s side on their way.

And the triumph means that victory over Aris Limassol in Govan later this month will seal the side’s place in the knockout stages of the competition.

He added: “It’s a really good win and we are very happy as it was an important game for us, so we are happy to win.

“We are working like a team and I always want to do my best for the team and help them to win every game.

“We are happy to have this quality and that is so important.

“For me every European game is important and we are going to try and win against Aris as it is a chance to qualify.

“It is a really important game to get into the next round.”
