CUP winning Rangers boss Jo Potter and captain Nicola Docherty returned a special delivery to Ibrox.
The women’s boss and the skipper brought back the Sky Sports Cup trophy to the stadium following last Sunday’s 4-1 win over Partick Thistle.
The Light Blues retained the cup they won last season at Tynecastle in front of a bumper crowd of nearly 5,000 fans.
For Gers gaffer Potter it was a first piece of silverware as a manager and she was thrilled to bring the Cup back from the capital.
She said: “It is nice for us to be able to do this on a personal level, but it is nice for us to be able to for the club as well.
“I think it is important that we are showing our successes and we are managing to put them out there.
“We were hungry before the final to win it. We knew the potential of this group, we knew what we could achieve should we put our minds to it and put into practice out on the pitch what we work on every single day.
“We have managed to do that for one, which is already a success, it is huge for us. We have our visions, we have our goals and our targets.
“We have got to quickly move forward and we quickly move on to this Sunday against Hibernian.”
Captain Nicola Docherty also lifted her first trophy as club captain and she is delighted to be returning it to the Ibrox trophy room.
She said: “The Sky Sports Cup Final has got to be up there as one of the proudest moments of my career.
“To be a trophy winning captain of Rangers is something that I dreamed of as a child and no one can ever take that away from me.
“To see it now taking its place in the world famous Ibrox trophy room for the fans to enjoy is a special moment for myself, Jo and her staff, as well as all of the players.
“I was so proud of all of the players at Tynecastle but we know we still have plenty to play for this season.
“That starts with the Hibernian game and as a squad, this trophy win gives us the belief we can enjoy more success this season.”
