From the side which defeated Lech Poznan on Thursday night to top Europa League Group D, in come goalkeeper Allan McGregor, skipper James Tavernier, Steven Davis, Ryan Kent, Kemar Roofe and Alfredo Morelos.
That means it’s a back five of McGregor in goal with Tavernier, Connor Goldson, Leon Balogun and Borna Barisic in front of him.
Scott Arfield and Glen Kamara are joined in midfield by Davis, while Kent and Roofe will play in support of Morelos.
Indeed, only McGregor and Davis have played for the Light Blues at Tannadice before, with this being Gers’ first visit here in almost eight years.
The six players to switch out of the side today – Jon McLaughlin, Ianis Hagi, Cedric Itten, Bongani Zungu, Nathan Patterson and Joe Aribo – are all on the bench, and are joined there by Calvin Bassey, the returning Fil Helander and Jermain Defoe.
