The Light Blue expressed the squad’s delight to secure their first league win of the new campaign following Friday night’s defeat against Civil Service Strollers.
Speaking exclusively to RangersTV following the match, he said: “I felt that we dominated most of the game, especially in the first half. In the second half, we conceded the goals that we did and made it harder for ourselves, but overall, it was a good performance and great to get three points.
“We were disappointed about Friday night; we should’ve won the game, but we didn’t create enough chances to win but we are delighted with the win tonight.
David McCallum’s side secured their first goal with just 25 seconds on the clock this evening from Zak Lovelace with Connor Young also netting his debut goal. The young Ger highlighted the level of depth of the squad with the two new signings positively impacting the team since joining the club.
He added: “It was great to get off to a good start in the game, it was a good finish from Zak Lovelace. They were both delighted, obviously, Zak went off injured which was unfortunate, but the two have been brilliant since they’ve come to the club and great additions to the squad.
“We have a lot of depth within the squad from defenders, midfielders, and attackers we’ve got a lot of players and competitions which is good for all of us.”
