Retro Shirt Day
Copland Collective have invited all Rangers supporters to show their support for Retro Shirt Day at the upcoming William Hill Scottish Premiership fixture against Motherwell on Sunday 26 April by wearing their favourite Rangers shirt from years gone by. This annual event takes place in memory of the club's legendary kitman, Jimmy Bell.
A bucket collection will take place on the stadium footprint prior to kick-off, raising funds for the Emmie Smillie Charity Foundation. Selected by the Bell family, the foundation supports cancer-related organisations across Glasgow and the West, with a particular focus on services supporting young people impacted by cancer.
Rangers Football Club is proud to support this initiative and encourages all supporters to take part and donate where possible.
A raffle will also be held in the Fan Zone at Edmiston House, presented by Park's Motor Group, ahead of the match, offering supporters the chance to win a signed retro replica shirt, with all proceeds going to the Emmie Smillie Charity Foundation.
Supporter Flags and Tifo
A pre-match Tifo display will take place in the Copland Stand. Rangers Supporters Clubs are encouraged to bring their own flags to contribute to the atmosphere.
Any RSC or supporter group intending to bring large flags is asked to notify the club in advance by emailing slo@rangers.co.uk, so that safe stewarding and entry arrangements can be made.
Supporters are also reminded that flags must not cover LED advertising boards during the match. Any flags found to be obscuring the LEDs will be removed by stewards.
Travel Information
Train services to/from Glasgow Central have now returned to a normal timetable. Some station entrances remain closed due to ongoing safety measures, with access currently available via Hope Street and Argyle Street.
Contactless payment is now available on Subway gates, meaning those travelling can tap in and out without having to purchase a ticket. The same card or device must be used for both entry and exit to ensure the correct fare is charged.
M8 Roadworks: Ongoing works in both directions between Junctions 24 (Helen Street) and 27 (Paisley/Renfrew). A 40mph speed restriction and average speed cameras are in operation.
Supporters are encouraged to plan their journey in advance and allow additional time when travelling to the stadium.
Player Engagement
Please note that the usual player exit at the Copland Stand will not take place following this fixture, as the squad will be travelling directly from the stadium to the Rangers Player Awards. We thank supporters in advance for their understanding.
