Team News: Barry Ferguson Names His Team To Face Athletic Club

BARRY FERGUSON has named his Rangers team for this evening’s UEFA Europa League quarter-final second-leg against Athletic Club.

All eyes are on San Mamés Stadium with the tie firmly in the balance following last week’s 0-0 draw at Ibrox.

From that game, there are three changes to the Rangers starting XI, with John Souttar and Mohamed Diomande returning from suspension, while Jefte also comes in from the start.

Robin Propper is suspended after his red card in the first-leg and Dujon Sterling is out through injury. Bailey Rice, who also had to come off injured in last week’s first leg, is on the bench this evening.

That means Rangers line-up with Liam Kelly in goal behind a back line of Ridvan, James Tavernier, Leon Balogun, John Souttar and Jefte.
