From the side which came through 1-0 against Kilmarnock in the Scottish Premiership on Saturday, it’s a huge plus to have Scott Arfield, Kemar Roofe and Alfredo Morelos all in the starting team as part of five changes overall after recent injury and suspension issues.
Fil Helander and Glen Kamara also come back into the XI tonight.
That means it’s a back five of Allan McGregor in goal with James Tavernier, Connor Goldson, Helander and Borna Barisic in front of him.
Arfield and Kamara come into midfield next to Steven Davis, while up front, Joe Aribo and Roofe will support Morelos.
There’s also a hugely strong bench available to manager Gerrard tonight, should he require it.
