Tillman Happy With Togetherness And Fight

MALIK Tillman outlined the level of togetherness and fight within the Rangers squad after a positive 4-1 victory against Aberdeen at Ibrox yesterday afternoon.

The Light Blues attacker took time to recognise the fundamental role that the Rangers support played in encouraging the players to fight back and seal another key three points in the league campaign.

Speaking exclusively to RangersTV after their hard-fought victory at Ibrox, he said: “I think it was very important to get the win again, to get the joy back in our team and the fan as well – it was an important win.

“The fans made a big impact on us, especially after conceding a goal to get back from that was a good performance.

“I think that they were very important, it’s great to have these kind of fans behind your back they push us forward every minute of the game – they have a big impact on us.

Tillman emphasised the importance in maintaining strong character and the key role that played this afternoon after fighting back from 1-0 in the first half.

He continued: “Everyone on the team wants to win, the mentality is good even though we lost in the Champions League, but we still want to win every game that we go into.

“You have to look forward, you have to keep thinking positive and try to score.

“You want to always score more and bring the joy back to the fans, we tried to give our best to score as many goals as we can.”
