The Gers ushered in the Philippe Clement era last month and the Belgian coach enjoyed an unbeaten start to life in the dugout.
The following players are up for nomination:
James Tavernier – The Light Blues captain drove the side’s last-gasp turnaround against Hearts last month as he converted from 12 yards before delivering the vital cross in which Danilo headed the winning goal.
The full-back also produced a two-goal performance in the emphatic victory away to St. Mirren at the start of the month, lasering a terrific long-range strike into the top corner to round off the scoring.
Jack Butland – The 30-year-old continues to grow from strength to strength since his summer arrival, celebrating three clean sheets in succession in October before Lawrence Shankland’s first half header brought the run to an unfortunate end against Hearts.
The Englishman has been especially influential in the Gers’ Europa League exploits, with a string of terrific saves helping Clement’s side earn a creditable point away to Sparta Prague as they gear up for the return visit from the Czech side this month.
Abdallah Sima – The on-loan Brighton forward was the Light Blues’ chief source of goals in October as he netted three times in five games.
The Senegalese forward celebrated Clement’s Ibrox bow with a fantastic brace against Hibernian at Ibrox, while he also found the back of the net against Aris Limassol and St. Mirren earlier in the month.
John Lundstram – The midfielder has beena driving force in midfield under the Belgian’s tutelage,playing 90 minutes across all five of the Gers’ October outings.
The 29-year-old was a standout on both sides of the ball, with his indefatigable running motoring Rangers up the pitch in a much improved second half performance in Prague.
