The candidates for the voting for this month’s winner are as follows:
Olivia McLoughlin – Liv was once again a consistent performer through the month featuring in all five matches which included four starts. The 19-year-old started in her first ever final in the Sky Sports Cup as she got herself on the scoresheet adding the final goal of the day in a 4-1 win at Tynecastle as Jo Potter’s side claimed the first silverware of the season.
Mia McAulay – Mia also featured in all of the matches throughout March as the academy graduate claimed her first piece of silverware with her childhood club. The youngster made a big impact on the opening SWPL fixture on March 3 with two goals in a 3-1 away win over Hibs before a dream moment in the cup final was to come as she opened the scoring in the capital.
Brogan Hay – The winger enjoyed another impressive month on the flank featuring in all the matches as she was part of the side that retained the Sky Sports Cup which included providing two assists in the final in the commanding win over the Jags on March 24. The 25-year-old also provided the match winning assist as the Gers rounded off the month with a home win over Hibs as she now prepares to represent her country on international duty.
Sarah Ewens – Sarah was a steady performer in the Gers frontline throughout the month with her form seeing her recent a second ever call-up to the Scotland national squad. Targeting her first senior cap over the break the striker provided an assist in the first league win over Hibs before scoring in the Scottish Cup victory against the same side as Rangers booked their place in the semi-finals once again.
Chelsea Cornet – Chelsea started every match throughout March as she remains a key figure within the Rangers midfield. Part of the side to retain the Sky Sports Cup once again having being part of the squad to win it for the first time in the club’s history last season the 25-year-old will be part of the Scotland squad who will begin their European Championship qualifiers in the break.
