The new-look Gers team will open their campaign in the SWPL Cup as the take on Queen’s Park at the Hummel Training Centre.
Speaking to RangersTV ahead of the game she said: “I think personally this is all new for me and for other people in the team. This is the first round in the cup and we are just really excited to get started.
“We have got French people, people from home, people from Scotland so it has been really good getting to know everyone.
“I feel like we are all so new but we feel like we have been together for a few years, everyone is gelled really well and we are all getting on.”
The Northern Ireland international is hoping the Gers can get off to a good start this weekend.
She continued: “A lot of us are changing our style of play so we are trying to gel together as a team but I think so far we have really enjoyed playing a different kind of football and hopefully as the games go on we will gel more and more.
“I think with pre-season and that you just tend to run a lot so we are just keen to get the season going and start playing a bit more football.
“It’s very important to get off to a good start, I think there’s quite high expectation throughout everyone at the club to get off to a good start and keep that going so we are hoping that come Sunday we can get the win and start off with that.
“I hope we do get a good crowd because I think there’s been quite a bit on social media about who is signing where.
Rangers Women kick-off their SWPL Cup group stage campaign on Sunday against Queen’s Park at the Hummel Training Centre (kick-off 3pm).
Tickets can be bought on the gate and cost £5 for Adults and £3 for students/concessions and £1 for Under 16s.
