The Light Blues were knocked-out of the Scottish Cup in their last match before the international break but the captain says the squad have analysed that match as they look to move forward in the league this weekend.
Speaking exclusively to RangersTV ahead of the game, she said: “They always give us a good test, we have obviously just played them quite recently so we are going to have to move on from that result and analyse things we can do better on the park and things we can neutralise in their team.
“You could look at it either way and think it's a quick turnaround to play them again but on the other hand you could say it is a really good chance to put things right so all the girls will be looking forward to it.
“We have a good range of players of all ages and different experiences so I think that is good within the group to keep positivity high and have that resilient mindset.
“It is always a physical match and it comes down to who is clinical on the day - tactics might change from game to game depending on personnel. I think it is a game that you have to be willing to put in a physical performance, it is always a good battle and there's quality on both sides of the ball so you have to be able to problem solve within the game.”
With a number of players returning from injury in recent weeks, Westrup says the whole squad will be key as they head into another busy period of fixtures.
She continued: “It is massively positive and it helps in terms of spreading minutes when you need to or if someone picks up a niggle in one game so it is good to have more experience.
“It is key for the season, we have a lot of games and some unforeseen rescheduled games that are going to slot in midweek so it will be good for the team as a whole. Everyone is going to have to pull their weight at a different time.”
