The Light Blue reflected on the squad’s winning performance tonight and said that the team turned their performance around in the second half to get the 2-0 win.
Speaking exclusively to RangersTV after this evening’s match, he said: “I thought we started a wee bit slower than we would’ve liked, but towards the end of the game we started to move the ball quicker and became more clinical as the game went on.
“We just had to lift the energy a wee bit and stay focused on the task to keep moving the ball, and eventually our play would create more chances.
“I think the first goal just lifted the confidence of the team and the second one put it to bed, it was good because it just let us relax a little bit and keep playing our football.”
The youngster says he’s enjoying being back playing regular football after injury and believes the exposure and regular game time will benefit his recovery.
He continued: “I think it’s been really good, after coming in from injury after a long time – I need to get more minutes, it’s a faster pace with the B team but I’m enjoying it.
“It’s benefitting me a lot [Lowland League], learning things like fewer touches of the ball and doing everything faster.”
