The full-back was one of several standout performers for the young Gers as they delivered a 3-0 victory over the Ukrainian outfit to secure an eventual 5-3 aggregate win.
Speaking to RangersTV after the game, the 16-year-old commented: “These are the games that I want to play in when there are fans.
“It was class from the lads since the start.
“The game was back to front, the full game, but the lads put in everything and I can't fault them.
“We learned from our mistakes in the first game that we had over in Poland.
“We conceded at the very start of the game before half-time and then from kick-off. Those are mistakes that we learned from, and we didn't do last night.”
At one end of the pitch, the attacking trio of Lewis Stewart, Kyle Glasgow and Max Cameron delivered as each etched their name onto the scoresheet.
However, it was an equally accomplished defensive performance as Scally and the young Gers backline enjoyed a well-earned clean sheet.
He added: “It’s a big bonus, especially as a defender, when there are no goals in the back of your net. I'm really happy about that.
“We took our goals brilliantly.
“For Kyle’s goal, the goalkeeper sort of messes up, but we take them.
“Max then gets his goal at the end to top it off, so it felt good.”
