Her Rangers team were back on the pitch for the first time in a fortnight as they claimed a 3-1 win over Aberdeen in league action, with a Europa Cup qualifier and Old Firm also on the horizon in the coming week for the squad.
Speaking to RangersTV to reflect on the three points, she said: “It was a little bit fragmented. I thought we started a little bit slow; it probably took us a good 10 minutes to really get going and get into a rhythm.
“From there, obviously we took control of the game, had some really good chances.
“The three goals in the first half are really helpful in terms of the magnitude of the week and where we are trying to get to.
“I still thought we forced it a little bit too much, made a couple of changes at half time, not because we necessarily wanted to, but we feel the group needs that to manage it across the week.
“The same around 60 minutes again; look to try and make changes and give us that freshness. The group is super competitive, so it is easy to give the nod to other players to bring them into the game, and you're looking to try and change things and make it happen.
“You look for probably that fourth goal to really go and kill the game, which ultimately didn't come, and again we just forced it in the second half.
“A little bit of complacency crept in, too many touches, a few individual mistakes across the pitch as well.
“Little bits that we know we can improve on, certainly we can do, but we asked the players to go and get three points today.
“We knew this was the start of a big run of games, five games in 14 days; it is going to come thick and fast, and there is no time to dwell.
“Really pleased overall with the group that they took care of business, but I think we could have managed it just a little bit better.”
