It is the side’s penultimate league phase outing as they look to build on Tuesday night’s 2-1 away success over Clyde.
Here’s everything you need to know ahead of the match in Dumfries:
OUR FORM
The young Gers make the trip south off the back of an impressive win over League Two leaders Clyde in midweek.
Josh Gentles and Ashton Patton were on the scoresheet for the side, moving Rangers onto six points in the standings after their triumph over Gala Fairydean Rovers last month.
On league duty, meanwhile, Rangers remain unbeaten this campaign after wins over Dundee United and Hibernian, while they also played out a 3-3 draw with Hearts.
OUR OPPONENTS
Queen of the South have endured a difficult start to their League One campaign with just one win from their opening eight fixtures.
However, they have found solace in their KDM Evolution Trophy exploits, recording victories over Hibernian B and Cumbernauld Colts.
On Tuesday, the Doonhamers played out a 1-1 draw at home to Annan Athletic in the competition.
TEAM NEWS
The young Gers will continue to be without several of their regulars in this competition owing to the ongoing set of international fixtures.
Kyle Glasgow has been selected for the Scotland Under-21s squad, with their first fixture taking place this coming Wednesday evening in Kilmarnock, while Callum Burnside is also in the Northern Ireland Under-21s set-up.
Elsewhere, Rydnn McGuire, Alexander Smith, Aiden McCallion, Aiden Crilly and Max Cameron are unavailable amid Scotland Under-19s duty, as are Under-17s representatives Coben Fergusson, Ruaridh Hall and Corey Ngwenya.
