Trailing by a goal at half-time, the Light Blues produced an impressive response after the break, with Laura Berry finding the equaliser before a moment of magic from Katie Wilkinson completed the turnaround.
The result sees Rangers move five points clear at the top of the ScottishPower Women’s Premier League, with the captain reflecting on the team’s second-half performance at full-time.
Speaking to RangersTV, she said: “We were nowhere near our levels in the first half.
“We spoke about a few things at half-time to rectify, and I thought that we did that to a T in the second half.
“When you look at our whole squad, we've got a really together group in that dressing room.
“I'm so proud of them for their second half performance, and we've got the three points that we really wanted tonight.”
The skipper was full of praise for the togetherness within the squad, highlighting the contributions of Berry and Wilkinson as the Gers turned the game around.
Speaking about the decisive moments, she added: “Laura Berry, just a fox in the box. She just got a wee tap in tonight.
“The vision from Katie, to turn and have a crack at goal from there, was top.
“They've been brilliant for us this season.
“I thought all in all, it was a good team performance tonight.”
With another busy week of fixtures continuing, Rangers will return to Broadwood Stadium on Sunday to face Motherwell in the ScottishPower Women’s Premier League.
Docherty believes the comeback victory will provide valuable confidence heading into the weekend, while also recognising the lessons the team can take from their first half display.
She continued: “There's probably a lot of learning from tonight, especially from the first half performance.
“We certainly showed up in the second half, and that's something we need to take confidence in going into the game at the weekend.
“We want to take maximum points from this three-game week, and tonight’s performance is definitely important in achieving that goal.”
