Player Biography

A product of the club’s youth system, Cruft burst onto the scene at the club during the 24/25 campaign as she was named in the starting lineup for a Sky Sports Cup match against Dundee United in September 2024 at just 15 years of age.

Balancing football with her education studies and also featuring for her nation, England, at youth level, she remained part of Jo Potter’s squads on numerous occasions in her last season in charge.

She made the bench 10 times in total, with the highlight of her debut campaign seeing her feature for the entirety of the contest in the Scottish Cup semi-final win over Aberdeen.

In the summer of 2025, Cruft was rewarded for her breakthrough year by being handed her first professional contract with the club.

She signed a deal until the summer of 2028 and became a permanent part of Leanne Crichton’s side for her first season in charge.

After signing her first pro deal, Cruft took everything in her stride with a real standout first full season in the Rangers ranks. She made 33 appearances in total, including 23 starts, as she was named the SWPL Young Player of the Year for her showings, which also included involvement with the England Under-20s for the first time.
