A product of the club’s academy system, the youngster has also enjoyed an impressive rise from youth level to becoming an established member of the first-team squad.

The winger was also part of the Light Blues title winning side in the 2021/22 season before she also agreed her first professional contract just months later.

Featuring in the side throughout the following season she was also part of the squad that lifted their first Sky Sports Cup in December 2022 where they ran out 2-0 winners over Hibs in the final.

The 20-year-old has represented her country at several youth levels, playing at both U15 and U17s levels and most recently a regular in the U19s Scotland setup.

Another regular appearance maker in 2023/24, McLeary adapted to playing in various roles including the number 10 position, as she too helped the side to both Sky Sports and Scottish Cup wins whilst also featuring for Scotland’s Under-23 side for the first time in the 23/24 season. Signing a two-year extension as the youth graduate extended her career in Glasgow until 2026.

During 24/25, the youngster showed her versatility and was again a regular feature for the Light Blues throughout. Performing in various roles for the side she racked up a further 33 matches in Light Blues as she reached the 100 appearance milestone at just 19 years of age in the Scottish Cup semi-final win over Aberdeen.

McLeary was part of the side that claimed back-to-back cup doubles as she added to her CV of trophies for the Gers.

Leanne Crichton’s appointment led to McLeary’s best campaign for the Gers to date; becoming a real regular in both midfield and full-back areas, she racked up a further 34 appearances for the club.

Her showings saw her rewarded with a first-ever call-up to Melissa Andreatta’s Scotland side, before she put pen to paper in May 2026 to extend her stay in Glasgow for another two years.
