Rommens signed for Rangers on an initial three-and-a-half-year deal from Belgian side Westerlo in January 2026.

The full-back is a product of the Genk academy before he made the switch to Westerlo in the summer of 2023.

He was an ever-present in the side, missing just two league games across the entirety of the 2023/24 campaign as the Belgian side only narrowly missed out on European qualification.

Rommens enjoyed his first Ibrox experience with an assist on his debut in a 5-1 win over Kilmarnock in February 2026.
