Fernandez signed for Rangers on a four-year-deal from Peterborough in the summer of 2025.

The 23-year-old defender began his career with Brentford before having spells with Gillingham and Ramsgate.

Playing non-league football during the pandemic, Fernandez earned himself a move to Peterborough.

In the 2024/25 season, he impressed in League One and made over 40 appearances.
