Gassama signed for Rangers from Sheffield Wednesday in July 2023.

The 21-year-old winger joined the club having spent the previous two years in the EFL Championship.

He was a part of PSG’s academy as a youngster and made his debut for the Parisian outfit two years later in a 4-0 victory over Montpellier in a team which included Lionel Messi and Kylian Mbappe.

The winger made an instant impact in Rangers colours when he netted a memorable strike against Panathinaikos in UEFA Champions League qualifying in 2025.
