The Light Blues goalkeeper made a phenomenal save late-on to preserve the score draw for Gers, with Fil Helander having cancelled out an early opener.
Speaking to RangersTV in the Czech capital, McGregor said: "I thought we started pretty poorly and pretty slow.
"We probably gave them a wee bit too much respect, but after the first 20 minutes, I thought we were better.

"We played higher up the park, we pressed them better, we could have won it and they could have won it. It was a bit of an even game.
"We had a really good chance and Connor [Goldson] must have just mis-read it or missed it, which happens.
"But I thought we did a lot better after the first 15-20 minutes."
On his incredible save from Lukas Masopust’s late header, well, his answer was classic Allan McGregor…
He shrugged: "The ball came in, the boy got a good header to it, I dived, stuck my hand out and it didn't go in.
"I'll be a good coach when I'm older!"
He was asked if it was better than the famous stop he made against Werder Bremen almost exactly 13 years ago tonight.
"It's different,” he said. “Hopefully it is the same outcome in the game, but it is not for me to decide."

There’s the return leg at Ibrox to come now in a week’s time, with Gers holding the slight advantage with the away goal.
On that match, which Gers have a whole week to prepare for, McGregor added: "It will be tough.
"They are a real, physical team who work really hard and press really hard, so make no mistake, it will be a very difficult game."
