OLD FIRM hero Youssef Chermiti says he loved every minute of celebrating in front of the delighted Rangers supporters.
The big striker notched a double to down Celtic 3-1 at Parkhead to secure a well-deserved three points.
A superb backheel flick from Nico Raskin’s pass levelled up the game, before he grabbed his second ten minutes later with a neat finish.
The hitman was delighted to fire home a brace and send the Light Blues fans home happy.
Speaking to RangersTV, he said: “I feel very good after that, it was a great feeling to score two goals in front of our fans.
“For my first goal I made a double movement and then when I saw Nico his ball was quick and I just tried to touch it in.
“It was my first Old Firm so it was a good day.
“I know what this game means to the supporters, it is a derby, so I was delighted with how the day went.
“I am really positive now for the next games and now we have a big game with Aberdeen on Tuesday and we will be ready for that.”
The Gers had struggled to get going in the first half and fell behind to Yang’s first half strike.
Jack Butland made a string of fine stops before Danny Röhl’s men took control and dominated the second half.
While Chermiti and the squad will enjoy today, he insists they will be ready to face Aberdeen at Ibrox on Tuesday night.
He added: “At half time the manager said we need to be tighter in our defensive shape and I think that was really important.
“He also said we had to play it forward more. We have to take it game by game now and that is the important thing for us.”
