The forward has made her full return in recent weeks having endured injury problems since making the switch to Glasgow in the summer.
Speaking to RangersTV ahead of the Gers’ final match of 2023 the forward is looking ahead to what is to come, fresh off the back of netting a brace in their win over Motherwell last weekend.
She said: “It has obviously been a tough few months for myself. I think the main thing for me was getting 70 minutes under my belt on Sunday and I just want to push on from there and keep building up my minutes.
“The last couple of games I have come on at the end and been feeling quite sharp so it was good to get quite a bulk of the game on Sunday. I was delighted to get the two goals.
The forward admits it has been a testing time being on the sidelines which has limited her to just six appearances so far, as she commented on what life has been like since returning to Scottish football.
She continued: “It was really frustrating, coming into a new club as well you want to just kick on and start performing and to kind of have that setback after setback. Trying to get back into training and picking up niggles again, it was difficult.
“I just wanted to be on the pitch, so I think since I have come back this time I have felt a lot fitter than before and a lot stronger. I feel a lot sharper as well going into games, it is definitely good to be back and get on the pitch.
“I thought it was really easy to settle in. I have played with a lot of the players before already in previous clubs so it was quite easy to settle in.
“Knowing a lot of people and I have obviously played against Jo as well last season, I kind of know how she works and I had heard a lot of good things about her.
“Coming in and playing for her has been really good. She has been really demanding for us and it is definitely something that has pushed us on throughout this half of the season so it has been really good to settle into and I have really enjoyed it.”
The 31-year-old has challenged the team to build on their away win at K-Park last weekend as they look to end the year on a high with another three points tomorrow afternoon against Hamilton.
She added: “I think we need to look at ourselves and really build on the performance against Motherwell. Hopefully we will start strong again, start fast. I know the threats that they can pose, I have played with and against Josephine [Giard] that plays up front.
“I know what kind of attacker she is and how much of a threat she is and they have a couple of good players that can do that.
“We just need to play our game and also be wary of that, but building on the performance from last Sunday is definitely something that we will be looking to do.
“They picked up a good point considering they had a player sent off as well. It is definitely something that we can't take for granted and we can't be sloppy with our play. We just kind of need to focus on that and build on the performance.”
Kick-off at Broadwood Stadium is at 4pm and you can purchase your tickets here, priced at £7 for adults and £3 for concessions and juveniles.
