JAMES TAVERNIER has picked up the Men’s Goal of the Month award for October, sponsored by EA Sports FC.
The stunning strike from the captain in Rangers’ 3-0 victory over St Mirren was voted for by supporters as their top finish from last month.
Collecting a pass 30 yards from goal, the full-back advanced towards the St. Mirren penalty box and unleashed a strike that was blocked en route to goal.
However, just as the visitors appeared to have negated the danger, Tavernier muscled his way in front of Alex Gogic and arrowed an unstoppable first-time strike into the top corner to leave the goalkeeper with no chance.
