The striker bagged herself a Hampden treble plus two assists as Jo Potter’s side set up a season finale against Glasgow City.
Ross put the Light Blues on the way with the opener before setting up Rio Hardy to give them a two-goal lead at the break.
She then added two more to her tally and then grabbed another assist by laying it on a plate for Lizzie Arnot to complete the rout.
Ross was delighted to be back among the goals but believes they weren’t at their best.
Speaking to RangersTV, she said: “I think it is job done, performance wise we will look at it, as I don’t think we were on it.
“We got the win, a clean sheet and five goals in the end, we can be pleased with that.
“Credit to Aberdeen, they sat in a lower block with a lot of numbers and we struggled to create chances and break them down.
“In the second half we had more space, but we will look back to see how we can create more chances.
“It is pleasing to be on the scoresheet and helping the team win.”
Ross was one of several changes to the first-team squad, which included 15-year-old May Cruft.
The Scotland international believes resting the likes of Kathy Hill, Leah Eddie, Brogan Hay, Kirsty Howat and Chelsea Cornet shows the strength and depth boss Potter has to work with.
Glasgow City come to Ibrox on Wednesday in a crucial SWPL clash and Ross says the Gers will be ready to go again.
She added: “We have a squad of quality players and we had the opportunity to rotate. Everyone has to be on their toes to get a place in the squad.
“We are pleased to reach the final, but we have a number of big league games before the final and that is our focus now.
“We have to recover and prepare for Wednesday night against Glasgow City now and that’s our focus.”
