The Light Blues won the competition for the first time in the club’s history on Sunday afternoon as they rounded off their season with a cup double.
Speaking to RangersTV at Hampden Stadium after the final fixture of the campaign, the defender commented: “I am just really glad that the girls could put on a performance and get the win in the end.
“I think last week was obviously tough to take, we were so close to a nearly perfect season but we have got to use that as motivation.
“We have done so well in the cup competitions this year and everyone knows how close we were last week so we just need to enjoy it and we are ready to come back again next season.
“Was it important for us to make history? That had been mentioned throughout the week but I don't think it is anything that we really thought about.
“For us it is just another chance to win a trophy for this club. It doesn't matter what competition or if we have won it or not.
“We will come in and have a break now which will be good.
“It has felt like quite a tough long season, it was nice to get it and we will be ready to go again in pre-season.
“When you have days like today it makes you hungry for more so that will be the plan for next season.”
The 29-year-old has reflected on the match overall as she praised her teammates for the work they have done this season, whilst being happy to shut out their opponents in the final encounter of 23/24.
She added: “Do you feel like you were made to work for the win? It has been like that against Hearts this season.
“It has not been any easy game and you could see that we controlled most of the game but it is just about finishing it off and thankfully Lizzie kind of calmed the nerves in the last five minutes.
“We were laughing it all started with a big tackle in midfield from her.
“It is great to finish the season with a clean sheet, that is something we pride ourselves on.
“Vic [Esson] again was excellent and the backline so we are glad to sign out this season with a clean sheet as well.”
