Off the back of two defeats heading into the new year, the Gers responded superbly with a resounding 14-0 win over Queen’s Park at Ochilview in their first match of 2025.
Speaking to RangersTV to reflect on the ruthless display, she said: “I think we were excellent, we knew we had to come into this second half of the season and show what we are about.
“We obviously went into the break unhappy with how we have been performing so I think today was a very good game to come back and show what we are about.
“I really enjoyed it today; I think I had to get into it a bit at the start but once I started getting on the ball and stuff I really enjoyed it.
“The partnership with Chelsea and Liv came on during the game and to get two goals it was really good.”
More known for playing on the flank, the 18-year-old lineup up in the attacking midfield position for Jo Potter’s side, as she spoke of featuring in the varied role throughout.
She continued: “It is different but I enjoy it, you get on the ball more, having my back facing the goal it is different but it is good to play different positions so I can help the team out wherever I am needed.
The youngster says the challenge is now for the Gers to put in these types of showings consistently moving forward, as they now gear up for a crucial Old Firm derby semi-final in a week’s time.
She added: “We know we need to keep going and keep getting the three points.
“Scoring as many goals as we can, we know how tough it is going to be but the message is just to go out and show what we are about, play football and get the three points.
“We know how good we are a team and I think we just need to show that.
“Semi-final? I am buzzing for it; it is our cup and we need to keep it.
“We just need to get past Celtic first and I am sure the team know what to do.
“We will get training, get our heads down, work hard and see what happens on Sunday.”
