Jake was an 87th minute substitute as Motherwell went to extra time and penalties against Coleraine in their Europa League second qualifying round match after a 2-2 draw.
Motherwell progressed to the third round with a 3-0 shoot-out victory. It was a good week for the Steelmen who followed up their midweek success with a 3-0 victory away to Aberdeen on Sunday. Jake was an unused sub in the league fixture.
Motherwell are back in European action this week against Hapoel Be’er Sheva before welcoming Rangers to Fir Park on Sunday.

Stephen was an 86th minute substitute as Ross County earned three points on the road with a 1-0 victory against St Johnstone.
It was the Staggies’ first league victory since beating Hamilton at the start of August. They’ll be looking to build on this result as they host Aberdeen on Sunday.

Ross was on the scoresheet again in midweek for Aberdeen in a 2-0 victory away to Viking FK in their Europa League second qualifying round match. In the league it was a tough weekend for the Dons as they suffered a 3-0 defeat at home to Motherwell.
They are back in European action midweek with an away trip to face Sporting Lisbon before travelling to the Highlands to play Ross County on Sunday.
