Season Ticket Seat Move Process 2025-26

RANGERS supporters have once again proven their outstanding loyalty, with over 98% of season ticket holders renewing for the 2025/26 campaign. The club is incredibly grateful for this continued and unwavering support as preparations begin for the new season at Ibrox.

With the renewal window now closed, we want to make supporters aware of what comes next.

The 2025/26 seat move process will launch on Wednesday 28 May, offering eligible supporters the opportunity to move to alternative seats through a phased transfer process.

Due to the exceptional renewal rate, seat availability is limited with mainly single seats available across various stands.

Moving in groups may be difficult, but it is possible that more seats open up as we move through the process.

This year we are introducing a new system that gives supporters full visibility of available seats and the ability to select their preferred location.

HOW WILL IT WORK?

All supporters on the seat transfer waiting list will receive an email confirming their registration and inclusion in the process.

Eligible supporters will then be contacted in two stages. Around 24 hours before their transfer window opens, they will receive an email confirming their eligibility and the date and time their window begins. A second email will follow to mark the start of their window, containing a personalised link to access the seat move platform.

Access will be introduced in phases, with supporters receiving their invitation as their window opens.

THE PROCESS WORKS AS FOLLOWS

  • Eligible supporters will be able to view all currently available seats across the stadium.

  • Prices will be shown when a seat is added to the basket.

  • Seat moves are processed on a first-come, first-served basis.

  • Supporters must be registered in a friendship and all members must be on the seat transfer waiting list to process the moves in one transaction. Friendship status as of 15:00 on Tuesday 27 May will apply.

  • At checkout, supporters will be asked to pay a £5 fee, which covers the cost of a new replacement smartcard and all administrative fees.

  • Once checked out on the seat move platform, supporters will receive a confirmation email which includes the new seat details.

  • If there is an increase in price between the previous seat and the new seat, the Ticketing Team will contact supporters by phone in the following days to confirm the move and resolve the outstanding payment.

  • If the new seat is the same price, or less than the previous seat, supporters won’t be contacted by phone but instead will receive a second confirmation email once the move has been confirmed by the Ticketing Team.

  • Once a seat move has been confirmed, it is final. The original seat will be released back into the system for others to select in the days following your move, so we strongly encourage supporters to review all available options before proceeding.

Supporters will remain eligible to move seats after their priority window has passed and can continue to access the platform up until the final deadline at 17:00 on Friday 13 June.

Ahead of your seat move window, you can view our Seat Move FAQs for more details.

PLATFORM ACCESS AND CONSIDERATION

In shaping this year’s seat move process, the club has considered the experiences of supporters during the 2024/25 season. To ensure fairness and transparency, the process will be delivered in phased access windows over the next three weeks, beginning with those most affected by recent changes and then moving through those on the waiting list in chronological order.

The phases will operate as follows:

Wednesday 28 May: Supporters in the Copland Rear, whose seats were impacted by the Summer 2024 development works.

Friday 30 May: A combined window for:

  • Supporters in the Broomloan Stand whose season tickets do not include fixtures against Celtic.

  • Supporters in the Copland Front, following the creation of the singing section.

  • Supporters who have been on the seat transfer waiting list for 7+ years.

From Monday 2 June onwards: Access will open in chronological order based on registration date on the seat transfer waiting list.

Supporters wishing to move into the Copland Front Singing Section will follow a separate process, with details being shared in due course.

Please note that over 6,000 supporters are currently on the seat transfer waiting list. As a result, while we are committed to offering the widest possible opportunity for moves, availability is expected to be limited - particularly in high-demand areas.

ELIGIBILITY

Only supporters registered on the official seat transfer waiting list will be eligible to participate. If you are not yet on the list and wish to be considered, please join here by Friday 6 June to be eligible to move ahead of season 2025/26.
