Goals from Ryan Kent, Filip Helander, Joe Aribo, Ryan Jack and Connor Goldson saw Rangers run out 5-0 winners at Ibrox.
Gers set the pace from the first whistle and Gerrard was pleased with the urgency shown from his side.
Speaking to RangersTV after the game, he said: “I thought it was a really strong performance, another home win and a clean sheet. There were obviously five different scorers and a couple of set plays so we are going away very happy.
“I thought we played with real urgency both in and out of possession. We flipped the formation a bit to a 4-2-3-1 to be a bit more bold and aggressive and really take the game to Ross County.
“I just thought we looked really dangerous throughout, we played some really nice football and we showed a real good style about us.
“Out of possession we did the dirty side of the game, the running, the tackles, the competing so I think in the main we were fantastic.
“We wanted the front four on the ball as much as we could. The speed at which we did that was fantastic - we played with urgency.
“When we played in Aberdeen we left the game too early we stopped doing the right things, last week we came to the game too late so we asked for a 90 minute performance and the players have delivered.”
Gerrard praised man of the match Ryan Kent for his contribution this afternoon.
He continued: “I thought he was outstanding. We know he can play with the ball at his feet, we know he is fast and we know he can pass but I think an extra dimension to his game which we are keen on is he has got to break the line and run behind because it gives us such a different option.
“If we don't get the first ball we can pick up the second but when we are up against these blocks we have to keep disrupting it in as many ways as possible.
“We can't keep playing in front of teams for the whole game but he was certainly right back at it today. He could've had a hat-trick but throughout the game he was a real threat and the job he does for the team out of possession as well is the reason why I trust him so much.
Today’s game marked Gerrard’s 150th in charge at the club, as he reflected on the journey so far.
“I am loving it - I am honoured and privileged to be in this position and to get the opportunity in the first place.
“I really understand what the club stands for, I looked in from a far for many years and I had nothing but respect for this club so to be 150 games in I am delighted but it is not about me it is about this team and getting the group successful as soon as possible that is the challenge.
“We need to get the boys recovered and ready for Wednesday night which is a huge game for us.
“I'd like to thank the players, the supporters and everyone that has backed me at the club. It has been a hell of a journey but I have loved the ride so far.”
