IN this week’s Gers Guide, the men’s first-team continue their UEFA Europa League campaign, the women’s side return to league duties, the Under-19s take part in the CAS Elite League Cup for the first time, whilst the Under-17s are also in action.
Here’s a look at what’s to come:
MONDAY
Rangers returned to winning ways in the Scottish Premiership with a 3-0 success in Ayrshire on Saturday evening.
A Bojan Miovski double, followed by a finish from the returning Mikey Moore, sealed all three points for the Light Blues, and you can see all the behind-the-scenes footage from the victory on our latest installment of ‘Away Days’ across our channels later this evening.
Leanne Crichton’s side also tasted victory over the weekend as they booked their place in the Scottish Cup fourth round with an 8-0 win over Renfrew yesterday.

CAS Elite League Cup Preview
The young Gers will be competing in the newly formed CAS Elite League Cup this week for the first time as the competition gets underway.

Women’s Scottish Cup Draw
Following victory in yesterday’s third round, the Gers will learn their fate with the opponents they will face in the new year later today.

TUESDAY
Rangers Under-19’s v Motherwell Under-19’s – CAS Elite League Cup – Rangers Training Centre – Kick-off 19:30
The young Gers will be in League Cup action for the first time tomorrow night when they take on a young Motherwell side in Milngavie.
Please note there will be no public ticket sales for the match, but we will provide the match lineup, as well as half-time and full-time updates on X @RFC_Youth, with match highlights following afterwards.

WEDNESDAY
Press Conference – Ferencváros
Danny Röhl and a player will speak to the media on Wednesday evening to preview the team’s Europa League clash against the Hungarian side.

Before flying out, the Head Coach will put his team through their paces ahead of their penultimate away game of this year’s league phase.

Rangers are back in Europa League action this Thursday evening as they make the trip to Budapest to take on Robbie Keane’s Ferencváros.
The Light Blues got off the mark in this year’s competition in their last outing against Braga and will be hopeful of earning their first three points when they make the trip across Europe later this week.

FRIDAY
This Friday, marking 125 years since his birth, RangersTV will bring you an exclusive documentary focused on the club’s former captain, David Meiklejohn.
A standout for the Gers back in the 1920s and early 30’s, the film will take a look back at his career and what he achieved during his time in Glasgow. Stay tuned for the feature dropping this Friday.

Eurofiles: Real Betis v Rangers 14 Dec 2023
Two years on from the day, we will bring you the latest episode of ‘Eurofiles’ to reflect back on a famous night for the Gers.
The Light Blues headed into their match with Real Betis on Spanish soil with qualification from the Europa League group stage in the balance before a fantastic 3-2 away win followed thanks to goals from Abdallah Sima, Cyriel Dessers and substitute Kemar Roofe.
Eurofiles: Rangers v Partizan Belgrade 14 Dec 2006
We will also take a look back at 19 years on from the day when Rangers topped their respective UEFA Cup group thanks to an Alan Hutton goal at Ibrox to seal a 1-0 win over Partizan Belgrade.

Rangers are back in SPWPL action this Sunday following their Scottish Cup win as they host Partick Thistle at Broadwood Stadium.
It is the final home fixture of 2025 and the penultimate match before the winter break, as the team look to claim a fourth straight victory.
