The candidates for the voting for this month’s winner are as follows:
Youssef Chermiti (Goal 2) v Celtic
Chermiti’s second goal at Parkhead completed the turnaround for Rangers in their 3-1 Old Firm victory at the start of the month.
Showing great persistence to steal possession from a Celtic throw-in, the forward advanced into the penalty area before opening his body and planting a finish beyond the outstretched Kasper Schmeichel.
Mikey Moore v Celtic
The seal was put on the victory in January’s Old Firm by Moore when he slammed beyond Schmeichel and into the bottom corner.
The move was initiated by Mohamed Diomande, before Gassama picked up the loose ball and fed a pass through to the on-loan winger who finished with aplomb.
Thelo Aasgaard v Annan Athletic
Rangers hit their League Two visitors for five in Scottish Cup action at Ibrox, with Aasgaard’s long-range free-kick certainly the pick of the bunch.
From an off-centre position 30 yards from goal, the Norwegian caught everyone by surprise when he set his sights on the top corner and curled a sublime dipping effort out of the reach of the Annan goalkeeper.
Djeidi Gassama v Dundee
Gassama’s goal was a thing of beauty in the 3-0 victory over Dundee at Ibrox.
After receiving the ball on the left-hand side of the penalty area, the winger jinked inside and curled a lovely finish into the far corner to cap off the scoring.
