Reasonable Adjustments
At Rangers, we are committed to creating an inclusive and welcoming environment for all supporters. We recognise that disabled people may experience barriers which can prevent equal access to football and associated services. Our approach focuses on identifying and removing these barriers wherever possible.
Access to Services
All disabled supporters will have equal opportunity to access season tickets, memberships, match tickets, and hospitality in the same way as non-disabled supporters. We are committed to providing appropriate support to ensure everyone can enjoy their matchday experience at Ibrox.
Application Process
Supporters who require accessible seating or any form of reasonable adjustment are encouraged to complete the Reasonable Adjustment Form 26/27. This helps the club understand individual access requirements and ensures appropriate arrangements are made.
Please note that different types of adjustments may have varying criteria, and supporting documentation may be required to help the club understand your access needs.
Understanding Eligibility
At Rangers, we understand that disability is not defined by an individual’s condition but by the barriers they may face in accessing services, spaces, and experiences. These barriers can be physical, sensory, organisational, communicational, or attitudinal.
We are committed to identifying and addressing any such barriers that may prevent disabled supporters from fully participating in Club activities. Reasonable adjustments are available to anyone who experiences restrictions in accessing Ibrox or Club services due to the way our environment or systems are designed.
Eligibility for adjustments is based on the presence of disabling barriers, not on specific medical diagnoses. We assess each request individually and sensitively, in line with best practice, relevant legislation, and UEFA Accessiball standards to ensure fair access for all.
To support this approach, Rangers considers a wide range of access needs across different groups. Examples include:
- Wheelchair users
- People with a mobility impairment
- People with visual impairments
- Colour-blind supporters
- Deaf and hearing-impaired people
- Supporters with learning difficulties
- Neurodivergent people
- Supporters with mental health conditions
- People of short stature
- People with hidden impairments
Other Beneficiaries of Accessibility: The club acknowledges that accessibility benefits everyone - including older people, temporarily injured supporters, families with young children, and first-time visitors.
Supporters are encouraged to let us know about any barriers they may face - whether related to physical access, communication, understanding, or the need for a supportive environment. This helps us take the necessary steps to ensure everyone can enjoy an inclusive and safe matchday experience.
Supporting Information
We understand that supporters may have a wide range of access requirements, and we welcome a variety of evidence to support requests for reasonable adjustments. The following examples are commonly accepted forms of documentation, although this list is not exhaustive:
Scottish Benefits (via Social Security Scotland):
- Adult Disability Payment (ADP)
- Child Disability Payment (CDP)
- Attendance Allowance
- Scottish Child Payment (where relevant to a disabled child)
- Young Carer Grant or Carer Support Payment
UK-Wide or Legacy Benefits:
- Personal Independence Payment (PIP)
- Disability Living Allowance (DLA)
- Blue Badge
- Disabled Person’s Railcard
- Universal Credit (UC) with LCWRA element
- Access to Work award letters or support documentation
- Armed Forces Independence Payment (AFIP) or War Pensioners' Mobility Supplement
- Medical or professional letters outlining access requirements
We recognise that not all disabled people receive benefits or have formal documentation. Where this is the case, the club may apply discretion when assessing requests for reasonable adjustments. Supporters are encouraged to contact us to discuss their access needs on an individual basis, and we will do our best to ensure appropriate support is provided.
Matchday and Ongoing Requests
All visitors to the stadium who require support or adjustments should submit the Reasonable Adjustment Form along with supporting documentation to the club’s Disability Access Officer.
Requests for individual matches should also be submitted as early as possible to ensure suitable arrangements can be made.
If you require the Reasonable Adjustment Form in an alternative format (e.g., large print or paper), or if you would like further information, please contact: disabilitymatters@rangers.co.uk.
