The forward came on in the 80th minute at Broadwood Stadium as the Light Blues continued their perfect start to the ScottishPower Women’s Premier League.
Speaking to RangersTV after the match, Ewens reflected on the significance of her return and the journey she has taken to get back onto the pitch.
She said: "I felt a wee bit emotional after, but it's been a very long time coming.
"At points I really didn’t think I could get back on the pitch. So, to be here now, it's just amazing.
"I just want to keep going on from here and keep building up my minutes.
"Coming here every weekend and watching the girls, it is tough.
"I think it's a bigger mental battle than anything else, but the girls in this group and throughout have been amazing with me.
"They kept me going and really picked me up on my hard days. It's been such a good group to be with, and they've played a massive part in getting me back."
The support of her teammates has played a significant role in Ewens’ return, with the forward highlighting the togetherness within the squad as a key factor in Rangers’ consistent performances this season.
Despite the challenging conditions at Broadwood, the Gers maintained their standards to secure another three points, with attention now turning to next weekend’s cup fixture against Partick Thistle.
Ewens added: "We've got a really good group this season and everyone's always together and backing each other.
"Today, with the conditions, it was a difficult game. I think it took us a little bit to get into the game, but once we found our feet and got used to the wind, we found our form.
"Every week we're building, and we're playing really good football."
“We're overcoming every challenge that we're coming against.
“Next week will be a difficult game again, but it will be good to hopefully get a run in the cup, and I look forward to it.”
